I am a Licensed Psychologist specializing in trauma therapy in the state of Pennsylvania. My passion for the mental health field began while earning my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from Temple University in 2012. After working with children and adolescents in partial, in-patient, and residential settings, I completed my M.Ed. in Counseling and Human Services in 2015 and my Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Lehigh University in 2021.

My Therapeutic Approach
Empowered Counseling and Wellness, LCC was founded on the mission of helping individuals to feel supported in their pursuit of a fulfilled life. My therapeutic approach is grounded in the principles of psychodynamic, interpersonal, and feminist theories. As a Licensed Psychologist, trauma-informed care practices like collaboration, transparency, and humility are fundamental to my approach as a therapist. My practice centers around self-compassion and empowerment; valuable tools to help traverse concerns like trauma, anxiety, low self-esteem, depression, and identity exploration. Throughout my career, I have been passionate about working alongside clients who are survivors, educators, entrepreneurs, women in STEM, and those pursuing higher education.
Both personally and from my lens as a therapist, my value for cultural humility, diversity, and inclusivity is paramount. I believe in creating space for the fullness and complexity of your various identities. My hope is to help cultivate a therapeutic relationship that is grounded in shared power and decision-making.
